Our 2009 Foals have started to arrive!!
It seems as though you wait forever before they finally hit the ground, and then the adrenaline kicks in.
The foals on this page have been sired by great AQHA Studs like Face It Im Good (by Zippos Mr. Good Bar), Indian Artbeat (by Indian Artifacts) and Bay By Snicker (Skipa Lena Leo).
As they become available, pictures will be added keeping you up to date with their growth and their progress. Feel free to contact us at bonnie@stasserequine.com should you have any questions.

Foal Naming Contest is here!!
The name chosen by Breyer Collectors is: "Face It Im A Star" Thank you everyone for voting!!
Our first baby born for 2009 is a beautiful colt by Face It Im Good. He is such a doll and so easy to get along with! We are very impressed.
And being her very first foal, Freckles is proving to be an excellent mother!
2009 Colt by
Face It Im Good x O'Lenas Fancy Freckle
Now we are trying to predict his coloring. TJ Corgill of Corgills Happy Heart Ranch feels he will remain bay, our neighbor thinks he will turn black, and I'm not so sure he won't turn gray like his dam. Face It Im Good is a Blue Roan.
Time will tell; we will be sure to add pictures as he matures. Send us your thoughts, what will he be??
With the strength and easy movement he has, he is sure to be a Western Pleasure contender, no matter what color he is.
(above picture taken August 8th)
"Hot Shot" is doing fantastic!!
He is ready and willing to accept just about anything with just a little bit of convincing.
He picks up all four feet when asked, follows us around with or without his halter, is doing wonderful with sacking out, ties and leads with no problems what so ever, and is a gem when it comes to taking wormer or supplements orally. We are very impressed with this colt to say the least!
Hot Shot now has his own page! Check out all the progress here....

AQHA Mare
O'Lenas Fancy Freckle

AQHA Stallion - reference sire to the above colt
Face It Im Good
(Zippos Mr. Good Bar x Blue Tigress)
Face has qualified for the AQHA World show twice (WP and WR) and has 18 AQHA All Around titles to his credit. He stands 16 hands tall and is enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund, APHA Breeders Trust and NSBA Incentive Fund.

Simon now has his own page! You can check it out here and see all the updated photos........
He's finally here! May 17th we woke up to this beautiful Colt walking around by his Mama. His Sire is Indian Artbeat who is simply gorgeous; 17.2 hands and all black. He is also the son of Indian Artifacts and is registered with several different association including the American Warmblood Registery.
The pictures below were taken at 7 hours old and his front leg to wither measurement was 42"!
...............to this.
AQHA Artifactually
(Indian Artbeat x Twist Easy Cat)
Simon... He is growing so fast and doing very well with his lessons!
Find out more about Simon on his page here

Pistol Pete now has his own page as well. Check it out here with updated photos......
And this is the 2009 colt from
LFM Fanci Freckles x Bay By Snicker
His dam has shown herself to be extremely athletic and we know from past experience that his sire, "Vegas" was born for working cows.
So "Pistol Pete" should be capable of great things as well. And boy can he move!!

"Pistol Pete"
He has lots of energy, but also loves attention and is willing to learn new things.
He is doing great with tying, leading, clippers and the fly spray including having his feet trimmed. Pistol is sure to be a great Barrel, Cow, or Ranch horse in the future.
LFM Fanci Freckles
(Freckles Time x Docs Fancita)
Fanci is a solid mare with a great confirmation for getting a tough job done well. She also has a great willing and quiet mind that she passes onto all of her foals.
Pistol Pete as the "Flying Bullet" -
he can be challenging to get on film....
